    We have ADR at Chef Mickey's at 8:15pm on 10/26. We arent going to MSNSSHP. What to do after the park kicks us out at 7pm & before our reservation? Do we have time after dinner to view the fireworks in Contemporary? & where?

    Your trip will be here before you know it and I bet you are too excited to sleep already!

    Dinner at Chef Mickey's sounds like a fabulous way to top off a magical day. I would use the time before your reservation to explore the Contemporary Resort. There are shops to find your perfect Disney souvenEARs. There is also a nice dock on the Bay Lake side of the Contemporary that you could stroll out onto. There are tables and chairs before you head onto the dock and we love relaxing there. It is so peaceful.

    The Game Station Arcade is located on the 4th floor of the Contemporary Resort if your family would like to spend some time there. There are lounges that you could grab a beverage and relax while you are waiting for your reservation. There is one near the entrance to Chef Mickey's.

    Unless you are dining at the California Grill or have a room with a Magic Kingdom view in the tower of the Contemporary Resort, there aren't any great places to view the fireworks from inside the Contemporary. There is an outside area on the same level as the bridge that connects the Contemporary to Bay Lake Towers. The view is somewhat obstructed by the monorail so it is not great. You can walk outside the main entrance of the Contemporary to watch. HalloWishes is presented at 9:30 p.m. during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event evenings.
