    We have ADR 7:10AM for Chef Mickey's on a morning when MK opens at 9. we hope to catch a bus from CBR to Contemp. for breakfast and then walk to MK. If we do this, we will probably arrive almost an hr. before opening time. Where is a good place to wait?

    Hi Janice,

    There will be plenty to fill your time between breakfast with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's and the opening of the Magic Kingdom theme park for the day.  First of all, don't assume that you'll speed right through breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  Take your time and enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet here.  You'll also want to linger at your table as Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Chip & Dale stop by to visit and interact with your family.  Don't forget your autograph book and camera!

    After breakfast, wander through the gift shop on the Grand Concourse of Disney's Contemporary Resort and then board the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.  You could even visit Disney's Polynesian Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort (both are monorail stops on your way to the Magic Kingdom) before arriving at the Magic Kingdom.  Try to arrive at least fifteen to twenty minutes before the Magic Kingdom opens.  Then you will catch the delightful opening show at the train station before rope drop at this theme park.  It's a great way to start your day.

    You'll see that there's plenty of magic to discover even before the theme parks open at Walt Disney World.  Have fun!
