Got ADR for 2 at Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace. I take mom's picture no problem but she has very shaky hands and I'd like non blurry pics of me. Is there an attendant with each character who could take my pic or do i need a backup plan?

    Hi Nicole,

A visit to Crystal Palace and the Hundred-Acre Wood to see Pooh and friends, and to Chef Mickey's to see the Big Cheese himself and his friends, are both top on my list of favorite Character Dining experiences at Walt Disney World. You have definitely made some terrific dining selections for your upcoming vacation.

One of the best ways to meet beloved Disney Characters at Walt Disney World is by taking advantage of Character Dining experiences. As you know, throughout your meal, Characters will come to you for tableside visits, with plenty of opportunities for personal interactions and photographs. And yes, you will definitely want to take photos to record the moment!

Nicole, in the event there is not a character attendant available with the Characters who is able to take your photograph, in my experience, a helpful volunteer is never hard to find. Often times we have asked servers or host/hostesses in the restaurants, and even our fellow diners. We have always found that people are not only willing but very happy to oblige and help record our special memories with the Characters.

Be sure to arrive at both restaurants with a rumbly in your tummy, as the fantastic spreads of food at these all-you-care-to-eat buffets are amazing. You definitely won't go hungry!

Wishing you a MAGICAL Character dining experience at both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace, as well as a practically perfect Disney vacation with your mom!
