We have an ADR at Chef Mickey's @ 7:15...we will have a car and would like to park at the Contemporary early, play in the MK before, then go back for dinner..will this be a problem? Also, can you see the fireworks from the Contemporary?

    Hi Elizabeth!

Thanks so much for coming to see us with your question!

Guests dining at Walt Disney World Resorts are welcome to use the resort parking lots for up to three hours.  After that time, you are expected to move your car.  Guests have been able to get away without doing this, but during peak Spring Break season, you'll really be taking a risk of having your car towed.
You may not be able to gain access to the parking lot early in the day if your dinner reservations aren't until 7:15pm.  You will have to present your dining confirmation number and reservation time to the guard at the resort access gate.

Your best bet is to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and use the monorail to access Magic Kingdom Park and then take it to Disney's Contemporary Resort when you're ready for your reservation.  After dinner and fireworks, you can simply take the monorail right back to the TTC to retrieve your car.

As for fireworks, you are able to view them from the public balcony located on the fourth floor.

I hope I've been able to answer your questions!  Please come back and see me again if there's anything else I can help you with!

    Have a Disney Day!
