    We have an ADR at Cap'n Jack's Restaurant in DTD on 05/01/2012 at 7:00pm. Staying at POR. Want to take the boat/ferry to DTD. How long should be allow for transportation, to make sure we get to the Restaurant on time. TIA Moms and Dads!

    You have dinner reservations in less than a month; how exciting!  

    The peaceful boat ride along the Sassagoula River is approximately 20 - 25 minutes with boats running every 10 minutes in the evening. To allow extra time to catch a boat, to travel to Downtown Disney, and to walk to Cap'n Jack's Restaurant (which is quite close to the boat dock) , I'd allow at least an hour's travel time. 

    I'm attaching a map of Downtown Disney to help you visualize where the restaurant and boat dock are so you'll know where you are when you arrive.

    Have a lovely meal and enjoy shopping at Downtown Disney!
