Julie from CT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We have an ADR for 8:30 a.m. breakfast at Oga’s Cantina in HS but the park doesn’t open until 8:30 and we’re not staying on-site at a Disney resort, so we don’t have early entry. Will we get to enter early so we can get to our reservation on time?

    Hello there, Julie!

I can tell the force is strong with your party! Oga’s Cantina is such a fun way to kick off your day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you’d like a little preview of DJ R-3X’s music, check out his recently released playlist available on some of your favorite streaming services.

Trust the force on your upcoming vacation because I spoke with a friendly Cast Member, and they confirmed that you will definitely be able to enter the theme park early so you can get to your advanced dining reservation on time as long as you have your theme park ticket, theme park reservation, mode of entry (e.g., ticket card, Disney' MagicMobile service, or Magic Band), and your dining reservation. I recommend showing up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios entrance at least 30 minutes before your advanced dining reservation to let a Cast Member know that you have a dining reservation at 8:30 a.m.

The Cast Members will point you in the right direction to get to your dining reservation, or you can look for it on the map in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Getting to the theme park early will be important since it may take 10 to 15 minutes or so to walk to Oga’s Cantina once you get through the entrance. You’ll also want to account for the time it may take you to get through the entrance if there is a line.

I will note that the “breakfast” food options on the menu are limited at Oga’s Cantina, so you may want to grab a bite to eat at your hotel before you head to the theme park or grab a Ronto Morning Wrap from Ronto Roasters immediately after your reservation. I also love starting my morning by mobile ordering a Cold Brew Black Caf from Kat Saka’s Kettle in Black Spire Outpost. You never know; you may spot Din Djarin and Din Grogu walking around the outpost too!

May the magic be with you!
