Hi! I have a 9:20am ADR for Akershus Princess Breakfast. Will we be able to enter Epcot early in the dining reservation line? We will be coming from the Polynesian and would like to have plenty of time to walk to Akershus and get settled. Thanks!

Hi, Kristen!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Although I'm not typically a morning person, I like to start my Walt Disney World Resort days bright and early.  It's amazing how many attractions you can enjoy when you arrive at the theme parks early in the morning while crowd levels are still low.  When vacationing during the summer months, the lower morning temperatures are an added incentive to rise and shine.  My family and I like to make an early morning breakfast reservation inside the theme park to get our day of fun underway as soon as possible.

I have dined with my family at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall several times, and it has always been a lovely experience.  I am sure you will enjoy visiting with the Disney Princesses while you savor a delicious breakfast.  When you arrive at Epcot, be sure to look for the entry line for guests with dining reservations.  If you're not sure where to go, just ask a friendly Cast Member.  In my experience, I have always been able to enter the park a few minutes early using the dining reservations line, even if my reservation was scheduled a bit after park opening.  The Cast Members want to be sure you have plenty of time to enter the park and walk to the restaurant ahead of the other guests entering at rope drop.

When you're finished with your breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, this would be the perfect time to experience Frozen Ever After and stop by the Royal Sommerhus for a visit with Anna and Elsa.  All of these experiences are located within the Norway Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase.

Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
