    Is there an admission charge for downtown Disney? Also, what methods of transportation can I use to get from there to MK?

    Downtown Disney is a complimentary shopping, dining and entertainment district. There are wonderful restaurants and the World of Disney is a spectacle of souvenirs.

    From Downtown Disney to the Magic Kingdom, you can take a Disney bus. I would travel to the Contemporary Resort and then walk over to the Magic Kingdom. Note that bus service starts later in the morning from this location since stores open after the parks.
