Hey Howdy Hey Sonia and welcome to planDisney!
Booking your resort stay at any one of the
Good Neighbor hotel options is a great choice for your upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. Not only are they super close to Walt Disney World property, but many do enjoy some Magical extra benefits that are offered to Guests staying with them! Thank you for stopping by with your question about booking with
Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. I will be happy to give you more information so you can better plan your upcoming vacation.
One great part about booking a vacation with any of the Good Neighbor hotels is transparency. When you do move through the steps to book your vacation, any particular fee is usually included in the price that is listed online. There usually is not anything extra that comes up as you move through the steps to apply your payment to the reservation, but just make sure as things do change. The part that might take a little extra work on your end, if you think there may be a chance that you would have to cancel your vacation or you just want to know to prepare for all scenarios, you might want to call Wyndham and ask about any cancelation or change fees. Disney does have specific
vacation package terms and conditions that outline Disney's approach, but considering Wyndham is a separately owned and operated hotel, they may have a different policy that will also apply in cases of cancelations or changes. If you do plan to rent a car to drive to the resort, you may also want to call and ask about parking fees which are separate and not included in the price for staying.
I hope that information makes sense and gives you a better understanding of the fees and where to go to ask about certain situations. Now back to the fun of planning your vacation! One tip that I have for you during your trip is the opportunity to visit the Theme Parks early with significantly reduced crowd levels. As of the current writing, it looks like your hotel has access to
Early Theme Park Entry. This will give you access to the parks 30 minutes before they officially open to the public. This means you may be able to experience several attractions with minimal wait times to get all of your "Must Do" attractions in! Typically, shuttles do run from your hotels to the parks in time for you to get into the parks early, you might want to either call or ask at the front desk at check-in to get more details on the times they run.
I wish you the best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth as planning is where the fun begins! If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
