Hiya Huston,
Welcome to planDisney! I hope you are excited about your upcoming visit! Some people make New Year’s Resolutions; I plan trips to the Most Magical Place on Earth for the New Year. If you need any tips or tricks for vacation, please use us as a resource. Our panelists have been so many times that we have probably done everything at least once.
Walt Disney World Resort has incredible transportation options, such as the iconic Monorail and the glorious
Skyliner, but I prefer driving my own vehicle sometimes. I like the ease of leaving the Theme Parks for a midday break, hopping to another Theme Park, and just avoiding all the other Guests trying to catch the other options at the end of the day. When you purchase
parking at the Theme Parks, your parking pass is good for all day at all 4 Theme Parks. So need to worry about paying an additional fee to come and go. Just make sure to hold on to your receipt and present it to the Cast Member at the parking booth each time you enter the Theme Park that day. Also, don’t forget that if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel, you receive standard Theme Park parking during your stay.
Before I let you go, Huston, I have a fantastic tip for you! I’ve seen it happen so many times before, you park your vehicle, head into the Theme Parks, and enjoy your day. Suddenly you are back in the parking lot, ready to leave, and you can’t quite remember where you parked. It happens to the best of us, especially when our head is filled with all the magic we witnessed inside, or we are overcome with a sugar coma. The
My Disney Experience mobile app now has
Car Locator services! Once you park, you can either use the Location Services on your mobile device to save your parking details or input it manually. This way, you never have to worry about clicking your car’s alarm button so you can find your vehicle in the sea of cars.
Please come back and see us if you need anything!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
