Hi there, Erica!
So glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. I SEA that you have a 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami on the
Disney Magic scheduled. Even better if you can add an additional Guest-the more the merrier!
I recommend you go ahead and
contact Disney Cruise Line today to see if a Guest can be added to your reservation. Fortunately, you have asked about this weeks in advance of your sail date because I know that there’s usually a cutoff point beyond which no changes can be made to a cruise reservation (usually about a week before sailing). Disney Cruise Line does reserve the right to restrict any changes to a reservation, and all changes are subject to availability.
Presuming your
stateroom IS one that can accommodate at least 3 Guests as you say, the next issue is your stateroom location as it relates to the zones of the ship. Captain Mickey has to make sure the numbers of Guests for the various stateroom assignments also works from a safety standpoint with the lifeboat capacity and the areas of the ship. Once I learned this, it gave me a newfound appreciation of all that goes into filling these ships with Guests!
Sending you pixie dust that you can have a friend or family member join in the fun. Sail back to planDisney if you have any additional questions before your high seas adventure. Have a MAGICal time, and tell Captain Mickey I said hi.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
