Welcome to planDisney, Gary! Thanks for stopping by with your question. December is one of my favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. With the cooler temperatures and gorgeous
holiday decorations, there is just extra Magic in the air!
Gary, as a Disney Vacation Club Member, I love trying out all of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts and hope that you find the perfect fit for your family. To your question, there are a very limited number of air mattresses that are available upon request, in the "first come, first served" style, but it's important to keep in mind two things. First, requests are not guaranteed and second, if you are able to score the mattress, you can not exceed the maximum number of guests for the studio. If the extra bed is a necessity, but you'll only have a total of four guests, I would consider bringing an air mattress from home if you're driving or even having one shipped to your resort prior to your arrival.
If your traveling party includes five guests, you'll find studio accommodations that sleep five at
Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge,
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows,
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Beach Club Villas,
Disney's BoardWalk Villas and
Disney's Riviera Resort. Gary, I am always looking to stretch our Disney Vacation Club points and if you are the same, it might be helpful to know that (
pending availability) you'll find studios at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for as low as 15 points per night in December.
Gary, I hope this helps as you are dreaming about your upcoming trip. Please come on back and see us planDisney with any other questions you might have... and remember, "
adventure is out there."
Lauren
