Hi, Marion!
Thanks for sailing over to planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question. It is great to plan ahead with what you can bring onboard so you do not have any surprises when you reach the cruise terminal! Feel free to read through the list of
Prohibited and Restricted Items for informational purposes.
You are welcome to bring factory sealed water bottles onboard. They must be carried on and not left with your checked luggage. This is important to note since water is heavy, and your room will not be available until at least 1:30pm. This means you will need to carry the water around, whether you are touring the ship or heading to the buffet.
It might be an easier option to bring refillable water bottles along. There are water bottle filling stations around the ship, and you will also find a beverage station near the pool that has complimentary soft drinks, coffee, tea, and water (just use one of their cups to refill your bottle, please do not fill your bottle directly).
Another option is to purchase
bottled water through
Onboard Gifts. While it might be a bit more expensive than bringing your own, it is so convenient to have the water waiting for you in your room on embarkation day. You will find a mini fridge in your stateroom that will keep your beverages chilled. All orders from Onboard Gifts must be purchased at least 3 days prior to your sail date.
The choice is up to you whether or not to bring water, but whatever you decide just make sure to stay hydrated! After a long night of dancing on deck, hiking on a
Port Adventure, or just laying poolside in the sun, you will need plenty of water to keep going strong!
Wishing you a cruise full of magic and wonder. Bon Voyage!
Cathy
