Hi Wayne, welcome to planDisney!
Your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary Celebration is just a few weeks away. As we work through some tech troubles today, keep your eyes on the EARidescent prize.
Cinderella Castle is anxiously awaiting your arrival, as are Mickey and the rest of the
Fab 50 character statues. Let's get you to the ball!
For Guests over the age of three, valid admission and a theme park reservation for each park day are required for theme park entry. I understand you're having trouble reserving theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system for the members of your party that are traveling with you this trip. Let's review the criteria for making a theme park reservation to see if a solution naturally presents itself.
In order to make a theme park reservation, valid admission must be linked to an individual in My Disney Experience. Take a look at the tickets in your My Disney Experience account by scrolling down on the
My Plans page and clicking the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab. In my account, I see some tickets assigned to me with a dropdown menu that lets me reassign the ticket to another member of my
Family and Friends list. There is also an option to "Add a Guest" if I'd like to reassign a ticket to someone that does not appear on my Family and Friends list. With this option, just make sure you are not creating a new My Disney Experience profile for someone that already has a My Disney Experience account. In that case, it's easiest to add the person to your Family and Friends list before transferring the ticket. I also see some tickets in my My Disney Experience account that are assigned to members of my Family and Friends list and listed as "Nontransferable." Click
here to link a new ticket to your account.
Theme park reservations can and should be made as soon as possible for any person in your party with valid admission linked in My Disney Experience. Start by checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar, then proceed with
creating your party and selecting your park date and desired park. When confirming your party, only select the members of your Family and Friends list that are going on your trip with valid admission. Deactivated persons or members of your Family and Friends list that are not going on your trip should not impede this process as long as they are not selected during the party confirmation step.
If I misunderstood your question, please
follow up, including as many details as possible. I know you're eager to lock in your park days. The magic is calling!
Plan magic; planDisney.
