Hi Aaron, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for swinging by with your question.
It looks like your Disney vacation is a little over a month away, which means you’ll get to see the parks during one of the most unique times of the year. Halloween décor will still be up in the early part of your trip, and then things quickly transition to the holiday season, complete with Thanksgiving and Christmas touches. You’ll also be arriving in time for the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which is one of my favorite events. Between the Global Marketplaces, live entertainment, and demonstrations, it’s a great way to experience EPCOT in an entirely different light.
As for your question, I am not aware of the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option changing the use window of your tickets. To test my knowledge, I went to the
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets site and played around with the calendar and options. For example, I looked at a 4-Day 1-Park Per Day ticket beginning November 1. The use window is four admissions to any of the theme parks within seven days, so in this case, November 1 through November 7. When I switched that ticket to include Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus, the use window remained the same. So based on what I see, the window is not extended with those add-ons. That means, in my example, you’d need to fit your four theme park visits and your four Park Hopper Plus entitlements, like water parks or miniature golf, within that same timeframe. Honestly, that sounds like a lot of fun.
To make the most of your visit, I’d suggest sketching out your days ahead of time. I always like to build in a midday break to recharge, and your Park Hopper Plus visits fit nicely on non-park days. A water park day between two theme park days is a great way to pace yourself. You might even mix in a round of miniature golf when hopping between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios since
Fantasia Gardens is just a quick walk from that area. And don’t overlook Resort days. Sometimes, spending time at your hotel pool or checking out the dining at a new Disney Resort is the perfect way to slow things down. That’s how my family discovered
Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and now we always try to work a split stay into our trips.
I hope this clears things up and points you in the right direction. If you’d like some more ideas for structuring your park, water park, and Resort days, please come back and
ask me directly. I’d be glad to help.
See you real soon,
Brent
