    Adding kids to app

Hi There, James! Welcome to planDisney!

Three chEARS to you for planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! It is such a special time to experience the magic, with The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing until March 31st, 2023, so you’re bound to have the most incredible time with your family. There are special touches of EARidescent magic and every turn, including the fabulous night nighttime spectacular Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park. We all know the Disney team is famous for its entertainment and fireworks shows, but this one is really something special. You'll watch in awe as both Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. come alive with color, light, and music. I can say from experience, that the show will absolutely blow you away! Now, Disney Enchantment is a super popular show, so I’d recommend arriving in front of Cinderella Castle a bit early to snag a good viewing spot. I love to grab some popcorn or a DOLE Whip to enjoy as a wait for the show to start. What a great way to pass the time, right?

It sounds like you’re looking for help in adding your kids to your My Disney Experience account so you can get to planning! I’d be happy to help you with this, so let’s get started!

    • First, open up your My Disney Experience app and log in.
    • Next, open up the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner.
    • From there, scroll down and select “My Profile.”
    • Toggle over to “Family & Friends List” at the top of the screen.
    • Next, click on “Add a Guest”, then “I’ll enter their name and age” and “Add Guest” to submit, and you are all set!

Pretty easy, right?! Now that your family is added to your My Disney Experience account, you can plan your vacation with ease knowing your entire group is linked up under your account.

While I have you, I just wanted to quickly remind you to make your Park Pass Reservations ahead of your visit. Keep in mind that you'll need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you've purchased the Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. To make your Park Pass Reservations, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve. Then, just submit and you are good to go!

I hope you and your family have a magical time on your vacation. We just love answering questions for fabulous fellow Guests like you, so feel free to visit us again if you have any other questions.

    See you real soon!
