When adding a credit/debit card to your MagicBand, does the card have to be registered to the same home address, as the Main person in your party. Recently I couldn’t link my card to my MagicBand, because my address was different to there’s.

    Hi Pauline,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of my favorite types of Walt Disney World Resort vacations is a girlfriends getaway. I love gathering up a bunch of buddies to share a guest room, delicious meals and favorite attractions at the most magical place on earth. When my friends and I share a room at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, we each link our own credit card to our individual MagicBand. We all have different home addresses. In fact, some of us don't even live in the same country. While it takes some patience and a knowledgeable Cast Member at the Front Desk to link the separate credit cards to our individual MagicBands, I know it can be done. We have utilized this system more than once.

Do check your room charges periodically to make sure that purchases are being diverted to the correct credit card. On my most recent trip, my friend's merchandise purchases had mistakenly been put on the room account, which was attached to my credit card. My friend simply stopped by the Front Desk to present her receipts and rectify the mistake. No problem.

Let us know if you have any additional questions as your prepare for your upcoming trip.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
