Hello, Nicole!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. It looks like you are sailing on a Disney Cruise during the most festive time of year! That seems like the perfect way to celebrate the holidays!
In my experience, the
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Protection Plan typically can't be canceled unless you just booked the trip. In that case, you may be able to cancel both the cruise and the Vacation Protection Plan (subject to change). Since you want to keep the cruise (which is great news!), you probably can't cancel the Vacation Protection Plan. I'm sorry! However, you can certainly call
Disney Cruise Line to discuss options for your specific reservation.
Are you sailing on a
Very Merrytime Cruise? I hope so! They are the most magical sailings, with holiday decorations and celebratory activities. My planDisney class sailed on one during our training trip, and we loved every moment! I especially enjoyed Mickey & Minnie’s Merrytime Tree Lighting and Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party.
Before your cruise, make sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It has an adorable trip countdown, plus you can use it to book
onboard activities,
Port Adventures, and more. Brunch at
Palo is a must-do for my spouse and me! The food is delicious, and the views are incredible, plus it's nice having a "date day" while on vacation. My kids play in the
Youth Clubs while we enjoy our meal, so everyone is happy!
Nicole, have the most magical cruise! If you have more questions, please reach out to planDisney again.
Happy sailing!
Jen
