Hi, I have added Quick service dinning plan to my vacation. My question is kids must order kids meal only or they can order vegetables o helthier options in smaller portions? because I see that the children's menus are very limited in some restaurants

Hiya, Anabella, and welcome to planDisney! I'm absolutely thrilled that you're here today with the wonderful question about your upcoming vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth! It's going to be here so soon, and I can imagine how excited you are!

Anabella, it's awesome that you're planning to use the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan during your upcoming vacation! It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of dining plans because they help me budget in advance, and that allows me to enjoy my visit even more because I can stay in the moment, knowing I've already taken care of the bill. My kids also love using a dining plan because there is a variety of options at each dining location. Each dining location is different in terms of what items are allowed to be substituted. As a general rule, a quick-service meal includes an entree and a drink, and kids meals will need to be selected from the kids menu. I've found that there are tons of healthier options for kids meals, so check out the menus ahead of time and make a note of your must-visit restaurants.

If you're looking for particularly healthy options, I've done a bit of research for you! Try Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, where kids can order a Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl with vegetable slaw - yum! Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the America Pavilion at EPCOT offers items like kids Chicken Strips with Coleslaw and Watermelon, and Salad with Chicken. The kids menu at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park offers a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and you can get fruit on the side. Lastly, at Backlot Express in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll see a kids Southwest Salad with Chicken! While these options are subject to change, hopefully this gives you a good idea of what you can expect.

Anabella, I hope this is helpful as you make your plans for dining at Walt Disney World Resort. Don't forget that you can place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order on the My Disney Experience Mobile App long before you're ready to pick up your food - this will save you time in line! Have the very best time, and please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See you real soon!
