Hey, Kristina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
At this time, the
Disneyland app doesn’t show your friends and family list like it does on the website. However, you can link tickets for everyone in your party to multiple apps. This means you can link your mother-in-law’s ticket to your app and she can link your ticket to her’s. Creating a FASTPASS party by linking tickets to the app will actually be the first step when you use
Disney MaxPass. You can do this by scanning the barcode of each ticket or by manually entering in the ticket ID number to each app. Then either person can make and view FASTPASS selections for the entire party from anywhere in the parks.
Since downloads of your PhotoPass photos will be included because you are using Disney MaxPass, be sure to link all photos to your account. For any pictures taken by a PhotoPass photographer, pull up your PhotoPass code in your app and have the photographer scan it. You can find this code by tapping your character icon and then tapping “Show PhotoPass Code.” When the photographer scans this code, your pictures will be automatically linked to your account (allow up to 24 hours for photos to appear). To link attraction photos, tap the “Link Photos” option and enter the eight-character attraction ID. PhotoPass photos will only appear on the account to which they are linked. If your mother-in-law would like access to the photos linked to your account, have her select the “Link Photos” option in her app, then tap “Link PhotoPass Card.” Then, have her scan the PhotoPass code from your app and your pictures should link to her account. My husband and I discovered this little trick on our last visit!
I hope this is helpful. Please return with any other questions!
