Congratulations on upgrading your trip, Paula. The Disney Dining Plan adds both fun and convenience to a trip. As for some buffet restaurant recommendations, I'd suggest the following:
-
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. They offer a unique take on both breakfast and dinner.
-
Biergarten in Epcot. The entertainment here adds an authentic German feel.
-
Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all buffets, with characters appearing only during breakfast hours.
-
Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club resort. The clam bake buffet is a big draw for seafood lovers!
-
Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios. Dinner is served buffet style sans the characters.
Hopefully those buffets will get you started in the right direction. You might also consider family-style meal locations as the food is all you care to enjoy. I hope that helps!
