Hi, I added ground transportation to and from our hotel in Disney World to our cruise. How do I let transportation know what hotel to pick us up and drop us off at?

Hello there Dana, and welcome aboard planDisney!

It looks like you're well on your way to embark on an upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage, and being able to add on Ground Transportation can definitely make the process feel like a breeze - just like the ones you'll soon feel on deck as your ship swiftly sets sail. In fact, I just finalized by own Ground Transportation transfers from our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay for my upcoming cruise on the Disney Wish and I'm glad to lend a bit of how my experience went:

    • The easiest and most efficient way by far was through the help of our travel agent and adventure coordinator extraordinaire, who was able to make and confirm these arrangements directly for us! (When it comes to setting sail, I always recommend taking advantage of the expertise of these professionals to avoid any possible lengthy waits to speak with a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member and know that we're in good hands.)
    • If you prefer to call directly, I recommend aiming to call as soon as the lines open in the morning or prior to closing as I've been able to speak with a representative sooner during these times. When we've called in, the Cast Members have been able to help update our reservation with wherever we stay before and after each voyage.
    • You'll also have an opportunity during the Online Check-In process to input this information, and it's always a good idea as you check in for your Resort Hotel stay to let them know and confirm the meeting times as well as any information you need to know for your luggage well ahead of your departure morning. It's also a good idea to drop by the Guest Services Desk on board when you see little to no other seafaring folks in line just to confirm your transportation as you Debark and make that final farewell.
Something I especially love about Ground Transportation is having our bags magically whisked away to appear in our stateroom and also avoid having to worry about having to scramble for a desired Port Arrival Time during the Online Check-In process; due to our booked Ground Transportation we can rest easy in Boarding Group 4 as some of the first folks to step aboard! Hope this helps, Dana - come back again for any other tips, tricks or nautical knowledge before you set sail!
