Hi Paul, welcome to planDisney!
You've brought your question about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation to the right place. The road to Fantasyland is often paved with trials and tribulations (I'm looking at you, 2020!) It's in these times that I remind myself Disney is not just a destination, it's an attitude. Let's dig a little deeper into your tech trouble and see if I can help you go the distance by correctly assigning your theme park tickets.
Most wholly unused theme park tickets can be reassigned
online or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. I understand one person in your traveling party is currently assigned two tickets and that you are not personally able to fix the error. Taking a look at my own My Disney Experience account, I am only able to reassign tickets assigned to me and members of my Family and Friends list whose accounts I manage. Tickets assigned to individuals on my Family and Friends list that have their own My Disney Experience account appear as "Nontransferable.*" I just confirmed with my husband that a ticket I recently reassigned
to him can now be reassigned
by him, even though it's listed as nontransferable on my account. This tells me that the person in your party who's currently assigned two tickets is the only one that can reassign the extra ticket from their account. Tickets can be reassigned to anyone that appears on their
Family and Friends list.
As soon as you get your ticket reassignment issue squared away, be sure to consult the
theme park reservation availability calendar and make
theme park reservations for each park day.
I hope you and yours have a wonderful time experiencing
The World's Most Magical Celebration together. We appreciate you using planDisney as a trip-planning resource. Come back and see us anytime!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
