planDisney! I'm so excited for you. Adding a
Disney Dining Plan always makes a
Walt Disney World vacation feel even more magical, and it's such a fun way to plan out your meals ahead of time.
When it comes to seeing your dining credits in the
My Disney Experience app, they don't appear right away after adding the plan. Your Dining Plan officially activates once you check in to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. That's the moment everything “unlocks” in the system.
As soon as you've completed check-in, whether you do it online or at the Front Desk, you'll be able to open your app and see your Dining Plan details, including the total number of credits available to you and your party. From that point on, you can also track how many credits you've used and how many you have left throughout your stay.
It's completely normal not to see anything before arrival, so there's no need to worry if your app looks a little empty right now. Everything is already tied to your reservation behind the scenes and will show up right on time.
If you have any questions once you arrive, especially about how to use your credits or where they can be redeemed, don't hesitate to stop by the Front Desk or ask a Cast Member at any dining location. They are wonderful at walking you through it and making sure you feel confident using your plan.
