Hello, we added a birthday celebration to our lunch at Cinderella's royal table. Could you please let us know what this includes and if it would be necessary to order a cake or the slipper dessert? Thanks!

    Hi there, Karen!

There are so many ways to celebrate at Walt Disney World! And Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the most elegant places to plan your celebration.

While that's a wonderful thing, it does mean that I'd need some clarification as to what exactly you ordered.

If you simply told the Cast Member that you were celebrating a birthday and did not give a credit card number for any additional treats beyond your meal, you have technically not booked anything extra. It is likely that your mention has gone on your reservation information, and if you remind the Cast Member who seats you, the birthday Guest will be treated to a complimentary dessert (usually a cupcake or scoop of ice cream).

That said, if you feel you have not ordered anything additional, you can call the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253 and order your Slipper Dessert at least 48 hours in advance.

If you provided a credit card number for one of the celebration packages - like Her Royal Highness package - you should find out which one it was in order to know what exactly to expect. Then you're welcome to ask us here for more specifics.

Please let me know what you find out!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
