Hey there Mike!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you decided to stop by with your question.
In my family, I'm the designated planner and keeper of all schedules, tickets, and reservations. Even when traveling with friends I usually find myself in charge of the details. But between you and me, I don't mind in the slightest! When it comes to a Disney vacation, I'm happiest in planning mode and love crafting a magical itinerary for my travel companions. If you'd like to assume the role of Chief Planning Office for your upcoming
Disneyland Resort trip with your 12 year old, you've come to the right place. I'd be happy to walk you through the steps of linking your tickets.
Once you've purchased tickets, you'll be able to link them using the
Disneyland Mobile App. Navigate to the feature menu (≡) located at the bottom right of the app and then select the tile for "Tickets and Passes" at the top left of your screen. There, select "Link Tickets & Passes" to scan the ticket barcode or manually input the ticket ID. You'll be able to use your phone to access both tickets for entry into the parks on the date of your visit. Just be sure you've made the necessary
theme park reservations in advance of your arrival.
You can also link a
MagicBand+ to your account for entry into the parks and use at Lightning Lane entries during your visit. It's a great hands-free tool that will also allow you to quickly link
Disney PhotoPass photos to your account as you pose around the parks. My photo memories of our past Disney trips are so special to me, so be sure to take time to snap some photos and make those special memories together with your tween!
Mike, if I've misunderstood your inquiry or you need further clarification please don't hesitate to come back and ask us a follow up question. You can also
contact a Cast Member by phone if you need additional assistance.
Magic and memories,
Amy
