Hi Sandy, and welcome back to planDisney! It’s always such a pleasure when Guests like you return to us with more vacation planning questions! With fall just around the corner, you’ve picked one of the most beautiful times to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. Between the cooler weather and the fall or holiday decorations, you are in for a fantastic trip to The Most Magical Place On Earth!
Now, let’s talk about trip insurance. When booking a vacation, you have the opportunity to add the
Travel Protection Plan at booking or any time up to final payment, which is due 30 days prior to arrival. Once your vacation package has been paid in full, trip insurance can no longer be added directly through Walt Disney World. However, don’t worry, you still have options! I suggest looking into third-party travel insurance providers, which may offer similar coverage to ensure peace of mind for your upcoming trip. Be sure to review policies closely to make sure they meet your needs, as coverage can vary from company to company.
While you’re planning for your upcoming stay, let me suggest a few dining recommendations, if I may! If you’re looking for a meal with a view, you can't go wrong with
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Not only do you have amazing views of the Magic Kingdom, but if you time your reservation just right, you will be able to enjoy
Happily Ever After from your table or the restaurant’s balcony. For a more unique dining experience,
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village offers a perfect blend of delicious dishes and views of the savanna. My kids love enjoying the Indian-style Bread Service while watching the animals enjoy their meal, too! And if you’re in the mood for a cocktail before the parks,
Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my favorite spot to enjoy an elegant drink.
I hope this answers your question, Sandy. If you have any additional questions or would want additional recommendations,
please let me know!
See you real soon,
Brent
