Can you add travel protection to a resort visit (only) onlibe?

    Hello Melissa!

Thank you for bringing such a great question to planDinsey. Staying at a Walt Disney Resort Collection hotel is a wonderful experience. I know when I book an upcoming trip it's hard to focus on anything else but the excitement about my upcoming stay. But sometimes not so magical things happen and having travel insurance can give you peace of mind.

You can add travel insurance through the Walt Disney World website when booking a Disney vacation package. I recommend reading through the specific terms and conditions before deciding if this plan is the right fit for your travel party. If you are booking a room only visit, the insurance plan cannot be added. Room only reservations can be canceled 5 days prior to your arrival with no penalty.

Have you already booked your upcoming trip without adding the travel insurance option? Hakuna Matata! You can still add the insurance option to vacation packages by calling 1-407-W-DISNEY or 407-934-7639. A Castmember will be able to assist you with this process.

I hope this information was helpful to you, Melissa.
Have an amazing trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
