Hey there, Mike!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
Mike, I love staying at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It's so much fun. In fact, my family and I stay there over the week of Christmas every year and absolutely have a blast. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
If you'd like, Mike, you can purchase
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets online through the Walt Disney World website. After you've purchased them, they will link to your MyDisneyExperience account and you'll be all set.
To do this, visit the
Walt Disney World website. Then, on the top of the screen, there will be a navigation bar. Hover your cursor over the portion that says, "Parks & Tickets". This will open up a drop-down menu and you'll want to look for the "Admission" section. Under that you should see "Tickets & Passes" and you'll want to click on that option. Scroll down until you see the "Theme Park Tickets" option and once you've selected that this will start the process of choosing your tickets. After you've picked out how many days of tickets you would like, the ticket type, the date on the calendar for first use and other options you can add it to your cart and check out. Another option to purchase Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets is to do it online via the new ticket sales hotline. You can call them at (407) 939-7679 and a friendly Cast Member will be able to assist you with your purchase.
You can also upgrade your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay to a vacation package, Mike, but it can be a little difficult to do online. I would suggest just purchasing tickets separately as I've mentioned above. If you do wish to make it a vacation package instead, my best advice would be to call and speak to someone in the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation department. Oftentimes, to upgrade to a vacation package the resort hotel stay portion has to be canceled out and rebooked with tickets. You can do this online but it's not an easy process so getting help from a Cast Member would be the route to go. There might not be any perks or discounts upgrading to a vacation package at this time but it never hurts to call and speak with a Cast Member to find out.
Again, if it were me, I would simply add tickets to my MyDisneyExperience account separately and leave the resort hotel reservation as is. I hope this helps, Mike. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to
stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy camping!
