How do I add things to my "Plans" on My Disney Experience App? Our Trip isn't until October, but I'm in planning mode!

    Hi, Toni!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I completely understand the need to plan ahead for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. It's something I like to do when I'm having a bad day... Even if I don't have a trip coming up!

Since your trip is in October, I'd recommend first looking at the calendar and picking out which parks you want to visit. That is always an exciting process for our family to decide. (We often pick which park has early Extra Magic Hours.) 180 days before our visit, we can start reservations for table service restaurants. We usually pick one inside the park we plan to visit for the day, or at a nearby resort. 60 days before our visit, we can set up our FastPass+ reservations or 30 days if we aren't staying on Walt Disney World Resort property.

If you want to plan ahead and focus on the attractions you want to make sure you visit during your vacation, go through the list of attractions on the My Disney Experience app. You'll have the ability to hit a heart icon. Each of those "hearts" will fill you "Wish List." That will help you set up your FastPass+ reservations.

Have so much fun planning your unforgettable vacation. Feel free to come back to the Moms Panel anytime to as me more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Jen, Missouri

I’m a mom, wife and goldendoodle dog owner who is not afraid to ride a fast roller coaster again and again. I love to travel - which is good since I telework with a job in Washington, DC. I’ve visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times and it’s fed into my belief that you’re never too old to have fun. I run when I can and recently earned my runDisney Coast to Coast medal! I also love photography and founded an online special needs community. Learn More About Jen
