Sweethearts’ Nite; it’s a wonderful event to share with family, friends, and especially the love of your life.
If you’re hoping to enjoy some extra time in the park, remember that your
Sweethearts’ Nite ticket also includes admission to Disneyland Park up to three hours before the party begins (no reservation or additional park ticket required). This is a great opportunity to enter the park, pick up your credentials, and create your game plan. Keep in mind that lines can still be long at the official 6:00 p.m. entry time, so I recommend arriving earlier to allow enough time for parking, security, and the tram ride to the park entrance.
If you don’t feel that will give you enough time in the parks, you may want to
purchase a single-day Park Hopper ticket. This would be a separate purchase for you and your party. When purchasing a
Park Hopper ticket, you’ll be asked to select the park where you’d like to start your day. Remember that park hopping begins at 11:00 a.m. I recommend starting your day at Disney California Adventure, since that park typically closes earlier, allowing you to spend the evening enjoying Disneyland Park.
Here is one last tip! If you’re a Disney regular, I recommend focusing your time on the experiences that are exclusive to the event. When I’ve attended After Dark events in the past, I prioritized the
specialty treats, themed photo spots, and unique character appearances, as these are experiences not typically available during regular park hours.
