Hello, Katherine and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Dining around the Walt Disney World Resort is often my main priority on vacation, so I am thrilled to help you have the best experience possible. Katherine, you bring up a great question about how the Disney Parks handle special dietary needs. Since you already have a reservation, my recommendation would be to send an email to
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Here you will be able to directly communicate with a Cast Member about your unique situation, be it an allergy, restriction or other.
Katherine, I would also recommend taking an advanced look at the menus of the restaurants where you'll be dining. A few restaurants, like
The Hollywood Brown Derby, will note that allergy friendly menus are available upon request, however many others are available to view online. For example, two of my favorite
Quick-Service locations,
Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom Park, have posted menus that show a variety of options that are
Milk-Allergy friendly,
Soy-Allergy friendly, and more. At many locations,
Kosher or Halal meals are also available if requested at least 24-hours in advance.
Katherine, I hope this helps as you are dreaming about all of the delectable dishes you're going to be eating in November. Wishing you a trip that is delicious down to the last bite. Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have!
Bon Appetit!
Lauren
