How can I add someone else and their tickt to my Disney account? I want to be able to have this person in our group for a virtual queue.

    Greetings, Stacy!

It sounds like you are going to be headed to The Most Magical Place On Earth with some friends —awesome! On a recent visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with my planDisney pals, we really enjoyed walking around and sampling all the different foods featured in the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and grabbing cocktails at the Enchanted Rose inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Disney World is more than just rides and shows, making it a great place to enjoy with friends!

To add a friend to your MyDisney account so that you can coordinate things like Virtual Queues, Lightning Lanes, and Individual Lightning Lanes, you will have to add them to your Family & Friends List.

The easiest way to do this, in my opinion, is when you are all together and logged into your respective My Disney Experience apps. From there, you will want to do the following:

    • Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner).
    • Scroll to the “Account” section and select “Profile”.
    • At the top of the next screen, select the “Family & Friends” tab.
    • Click “Add a Guest”.’
    • Select “Scan their linking code”.
    • Have your friends open their My Disney Experience apps, navigate to the “Profile” screen, and select “Show My Linking Code”.
    • Back on your phone, tap on the blue box, “Scan Linking Code” and use your mobile phone’s camera to do the rest.

Once you’re all linked, they will appear on your Family & Friends List, which will allow you to make plans together!

If you need any suggestions on things to do with a group of friends, the Queen of our planDisney 2024 class, Susan C., has been doing some research on restaurants at Disney Springs for our upcoming trip. I have also seen groups book some pretty cool Enchanting Extras like renting a cabana at the Grand Floridian or a Beachcomber Shack at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, and even enjoying the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats & Sweets to watch the Happily Ever After firework show.

If you want any other suggestions, swing like Tarzan back to planDisney and submit me another question. I have plenty of different tips and recommendations that I would be happy to share!
