Hi Tabitha! Welcome to planDisney!
You are traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort during my favorite time of the year. You'll be arriving well after the rush of the holiday crowds but jest before Spring Break starts for many school-aged children. You should have a much shorter wait for attractions and have an easier time getting the hard to obtain Advanced Dining Reservations! For me, the biggest benefit is the weather. You'll see mild temperatures compared to the heat of the summer and it is the driest month on average. If you have ever visited the parks during the rainy season, wet shoes and socks are not a fun thing!
To answer why you stopped by today, your sister will absolutely have access to
Early Theme Park Entry if she is added to your room reservation upon arrival. Her park tickets and park reservations will allow her access to the parks, but being listed on the
Disney Resort Collection hotel reservation is what will allow her to take advantage of the early hours. You do have the option to add her on prior to your arrival at any point. You can log in to your
My Disney Experience account and locate Reservations. Once here, it should allow you to Modify your existing reservation to add her on. If this does not work, you can always call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and speak to a Cast Member. Keep in mind that she will only be added if you meet the terms and conditions set forth by your resort. Make sure to check how many people your resort room sleeps and that she is not exceeding this number.
Early Theme Park Entry is the best way to ride popular attractions without long wait times. I suggest having a plan in place before you enter and heading straight toward the attraction you want to ride first. My family was able to ride
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and
Peter Pan's Flight at the
Magic Kingdom Park prior to the official park opening. There is nothing quite like getting a head start on the rest of the crowds and taking full advantage of your park day!
Tabitha, have the best time with your sister next month at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
See ya real soon!
