At the Disneyland Resort theme parks, there are three types of
Lightning Lane passes you can purchase: Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
Open up your
Disneyland Mobile App and tap the three horizontal lines (≡) in the bottom right corner. Select Lightning Lane Passes, then tap the type of pass you would like to purchase to receive the next available arrival window, subject to availability. Be sure to check the Tip Board in the app on the day of your visit to view availability, current prices, and purchase passes.
On my most recent trip to Disneyland in December, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass was such a time saver. With a large group, I felt like we were able to experience everyone’s favorite attractions while still having time to grab a Mickey pretzel and walk up for drinks at Lamplight Lounge. It was definitely the way to go with a bigger group, and the included photo perks were a fun bonus that let us look back on all the memories we made.
With the Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can choose to purchase access to
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or
Radiator Springs Racers, or even both, for a chance to double up on the fun.
And then there is the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which I think is the grandest adventure of them all! This option lets you ride the attractions you want, when you want, with no need to schedule arrival windows. It offers maximum flexibility with one-day access to Lightning Lane attractions across both parks, including top rides and photo perks.
