Well hello, Marguerite! Thanks for reaching out to us here at planDisney. Let's get your question answered!
While you should be able to add your
Shades of Green resort reservation in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, many Guests staying at this hotel have had an easier time linking it through the website on a desktop. Don't worry, though. Once it's linked, it'll show up in your mobile app.
To do this, go to
the linking page on the site, click "Select" under "Resort Reservation or Vacation Package," follow the prompts, and you should be good to go! If you want to try using the mobile app, select the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, scroll until you see "Hotel Reservations," click it, enter your information under "Resort Reservation," and click "Link Resort." Of course, if you run into any issues, you can always
call a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line, and they'd be happy to help!
Now, if you'll still be at the resort on September 14, 2026, you'll want to make your way to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Why? It's coronation day! Oh wait, no, that's
Frozen. Let's try that again! That's the day that
The Magic of Disney Animation opens! Between learning to draw with Olaf (hence why I have
Frozen on the brain), meeting some popular Disney Characters, and watching your little ones explore a brand-new playground inspired by
Walt Disney Imagineer Mary Blair's artwork,
there will be plenty to experience. You can also watch the short film that inspired it all,
Once Upon a Studio, celebrating over 100 years of Disney animation. It sounds like a great and imaginative addition to this already bustling park.
Marguerite, enjoy your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions,
I can't wait to answer them!
If you can dream it, you can do it,
Matt
