Hi Erik! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
You are less than two months away from your visiting the
Most Magical Place on Earth! Make sure to check out some of the new experiences located across the theme parks as part of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Two of the standouts are the new nighttime spectaculars,
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious, which can be found at the
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT. The music, firework displays, and projections showcased at each show are absolutely incredible to see in person.
Since your Disney vacation package is fully booked, you'll just need to square away your transportation to and from the airport. You have a few options to compare and choose from. Mears Connect offers a Standard Shared service, similar to what Magical Express offered when it was still around. Mears Connect also has an Express service which promises little to no wait for the bus, but this will come with a higher price tag. Both of these options are available to book on their website and can be done so anytime leading up to your stay.
Sunshine Flyer is a new transportation service that was recently launched and is taking Guests to their resort in style. They have decorated their buses to look like locomotive railcars from the 1920s. I find this to be a fun alternative and a great way to start off your magical Disney stay! To reserve a spot, head over to their website to start the booking process.
There are also a number of private transportation services that will pick you up from the airport and take you to your resort. This is a good alternative if you do not want to wait for a bus to arrive or share that space with other Guests. I suggest performing a Google search for private transportation options to Walt Disney World from the airport.
One of the best parts of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that once you arrive, your transportation is taken care of for the rest of your stay. You'll have access to monorails, buses, boats, and the
Disney Skyliner. Disney makes getting from one place to another an adventure on its own!
Erik, I hope you have an amazing time on your upcoming stay! Have a magical vacation!
See ya real soon!
