Is the add to my plans feature no longer an option for activities such as character meet & greets that does not require a reservation? I used to be able to add to my plans, choose the date and time you want to add the event, then share with family

Hiya, Elaine. I'm so glad you came here to ask your question. Planning a Disney vacation is its own kind of journey, and I’m so happy to help you along the way. Ready to begin?

One thing I love about being a planDisney Panelist is that if I don't know something, I get to do some research and find out, which leads me to learn something new! I haven't used this feature in a while, and I remember it being an option on the website on my desktop. It doesn't appear to be there currently. As the narrator says in Happily Ever After, “Each of us has a dream, a heart’s desire. It calls to us.” I love it when a question sparks that kind of curiosity and sends me searching for the magic within the answer.

On the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can currently search for an experience, and on some of their pages, there is the option to "Add to My Plans." Once you select that option and the date and time, you can click "Add to My Plans." Then, when you click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app and select "My Plans," it should be listed there. Furthermore, when a member of your travel party is connected to you through the My Family & Friends list and the option to share and make plans is toggled on, they should be able to see this experience, with the disclaimer that it was made by a Guest they share plans with and may not include them. Just note that it doesn't appear that all experiences currently have this option, but I was just able to do it for Happily Ever After, Meet Ariel at Her Grotto, and Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage. Just like any great journey, technology is always evolving, so features may change from time to time as Disney continues unlocking the magic within.

Now, I was still able to add a note to my plans through the website. I clicked on the "My Plans and Tickets" option from the My Disney Experience menu, and there was an option to "Add More Plans" right underneath the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" heading. When I selected "Notes," I could input a bunch of specifics, including the date, time, location, and who I wanted to share the note with. So, if there's an experience that doesn't currently offer the ability to add it to your plans, you can make a note and share it with your family so that it shows up in everyone's itinerary and you don't forget anything. Talk about every wish finally put into motion!

Elaine, sometimes planning can be half the fun. So reach inside your heart and let your dreams guide you. If you have any other questions, I'll be here for you!

We all have the courage to fly,
    Matt
