Hi Pamela,
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to know you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
It sounds as if your friend has her own
My Disney Experience account and her ticket is linked to that account. You all should be able to share plans in My Disney Experience. To do so, log into your My Disney Experience account and click on My Family & Friends. If your friend is already listed there, click on the link to update and be sure the boxes are checked to share All Plans and Disney PhotoPass Photos.
If you click on your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience and do not see your friend listed there, you will need to send her an invitation to connect. Once you click on the Family & Friends link, scroll down to click on the Add A Guest link. I suggest that you enter your friend's name and age. Once you do that, another option should appear to let you send your friend an email invitation to connect. To do so, you will need to send that invitation to the email address your friend has associated with her My Disney Experience account.
Once you both are connected in My Disney Experience, you can include her on
Disney Park Pass system reservations and
advanced dining reservations (provided there is availability). And, as long as her theme park tickets are connected in her My Disney Experience account, she should appear in your party when you try to join the
virtual queue for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Pamela, if you are unable to connect with your friend in My Disney Experience,
contact a Cast Member in Website Support and they should be able to assist you. In the past, I have contacted them for assistance with My Disney Experience and they have been super helpful. In the meantime, keep your eye on the
operational updates for news of additional experiences reopening!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
