Hiya Patrick!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for sending us your question! I am so excited for you to come and visit the Walt Disney World Resort and I am thrilled that you came to us during your planning process. As I have friends from all around Canada and the USA, Walt Disney World has become a place for us to reunite, which also sometimes ends up in all of us having different itineraries.
Do not worry though, Patrick! While planning for a group can get confusing, there are a few things you can do to make sure your whole party is linked on all necessary reservations! The most important thing is making sure that the person joining you is linked with you on
My Disney Experience. To do this, you will have to log into your account and in the "My Disney Experience" tab, click on "
My Family & Friends." If you are using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, you would click on the three lines at the bottom right of your screen, then on "My Profile" and "Family & Friends List." There, you will be able to click on "Add a Guest" and enter their information. Make sure that you enter the email address that is linked to their My Disney Experience account as they will then receive a request in their account. Once they have accepted your request, they will be in your Family & Friends List and you will be able to include them in your reservations. If they do not show up instantly, try to refresh your page or app as there can sometimes be a small delay!
If you have a Resort reservation to add them to and it already has the correct number of guests, you should be able to replace one of the blank guests in your reservation to their profile. If, however, your resort reservation is missing them and you would like to change the number of people in the reservation, or you need help adding them to any other reservation, the best way to do this would be to
get in contact with a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Cast Members genuinely are real-life Fairy Godparents and they will be able to bibbidi, bobbidi boo all of your issues away.
I hope this was helpful, Patrick, and that you are able to get back to planning your magical vacation real soon! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your next visit, don't hesitate to reach out. I am sending you all the pixie dust and hope that you and your loved ones have the best day ever at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical day,
Ariane
