Welcome to planDisney, MyHien! I'm so glad you sailed by with your question because the more the merrier when it comes to a Disney Cruise Line adventure (just ask Lilo and Stitch or the Madrigal family!).
The short answer is that yes, in many cases, you can add another Guest to your existing Disney Cruise Line reservation. If you booked directly through Disney Cruise Line, you can check availability and modify your reservation online under “
My Reservations” or by
calling Disney Cruise Line directly. On the other hand, if you booked your cruise through a travel agent or used Disney Vacation Club, they’ll be your go-to for making any changes.
The longer answer is that before you finalize your happily-ever-after-at-sea, there are a couple of details Genie may need to check on first:
- The stateroom must have enough capacity for an additional Guest
- The overall ship must not have reached capacity for your sailing dates
If there’s one thing I appreciate about Disney, it’s that they go out of their way to accommodate all their Guests, from
special dietary requests to making celebrations extraordinary. And let’s face it, adding someone to your sailing party can make your voyage even more magical! Plus, traveling with a larger group means more soft-serve ice cream by the pool, more shared dishes in the three rotational dining restaurants, and more opportunities to explore the late-night snacks on the
room service menu (obviously eating is one of my favorite Disney Cruise activities!).
Whether you’re inviting a fellow pirate, princess, or Jedi to join your journey, I hope everything works out smoothly. And if you have more questions as you get closer to setting sail, we’d be thrilled to help you again here at
planDisney. Wishing you smooth seas and magical moments ahead, MyHien.
Adventure is out there,
