Can you add 1 person to your reservation at the host stand? Online it’s all booked so it doesn’t allow me to add one person for the same date and time.

    Hi there, Krystal!

Welcome to planDisney. Dining in and around the Disneyland Resort is certainly an essential part of your pixie-dusted experience. There's something for everyone, from nostalgic cozy corners to immersive dining to delicious quick-service bites and treats. Reservations can fill up quickly, especially during busy seasons like Halloween Time, so let's take a look at your question.

When it comes to adding just one Guest to your reservation, there is no standard answer or guarantee here. Sometimes, I have been able to add a last-minute Guest, and sometimes the restaurant has been fully booked and not able to accommodate. It can also depend on your party size; if you have a party of 3 and are trying to increase to a party of 4, it may be easier to accommodate a 4-top than to go from a party of 4 to a party of 5, which would likely require a larger table size. If you aren't seeing an option to modify your reservation in the Disneyland app, I would head to your dining location when they open, regardless of your reservation time, and speak with the Cast Member directly. While there is no guarantee, they will be your best bet to drum up some magic to see if they can accommodate your larger party size.

I would also make note of the cancellation window for your particular dining location, as Guests are always changing their plans, and a larger table may open up! Cancellation windows can range from 2 hours to 24-48 hours. I was able to grab a reservation for 3 at Blue Bayou during my last visit, the morning of! I would continue to check reservations for the larger party size starting 24 hours ahead of time, as that is usually when you will see the most movement.

I can see that you are heading into the parks tomorrow! With Halloween Time in full swing and so many limited-time sweets and treats, I highly recommend taking a look through the Disney Parks Blog Halloween Foodie Guide! It's a complete list of all the ghoulish delights available through the big day on October 31st. The Rest in Chocolate ice cream sundae from Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor caught my eye!

I hope this has been helpful! I'll sprinkle a little pixie dust in the hopes that your whole party will be able to dine together. Wishing you wonder and magic for your visit this week!

    See ya real soon!
