I want to add a person to my reservation.

    Howdy Kevin!

Welcome to planDisney! You and your gang are going to have a rootin’ tootin’ good time during your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Walt Disney World will be your playground, and it sounds like you are ready to get this party started!

Adding a plus one to a reservation is as easy as Buzz Lightyear saying, “To infinity and beyond!” If you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation and this Guest is currently not included yet, then your first step is to contact Disney Resort’s Hotel Reservations department and a Cast Member will assist you in adding the Guest to your reservation.

Here’s the caveat about adding another person to your resort reservation: you can always do that so long as the number of people in your party does not exceed the room’s maximum occupancy.

Then you can start the fun process of adding the plus one guest as part of your Family and Friends on the My Disney Experience app. Once the additional guest shows up as part of your Family and Friends list, the job of coordinating park plans and reservations becomes infinitely easier.

Since your visit is in March next year, I’d suggest going ahead and lining up park tickets and making reservations for each park you plan on visiting using the Disney Park Pass system. Once the Advance Dining Reservation window opens up, go ahead and secure those dining plans! Currently, all Guests may make dining reservations online up to 60 days in advance.

Kevin, so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. Stop back by anytime as you mosey closer to your magical vacation.

You’ve got a friend in me!
