how do I add more people to my hotel reservation

Hey there, Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

Whether or not you can add people to your Walt Disney World Resort room reservation depends on a couple of factors.  If you booked your reservation as a Walt Disney World Resort hotel-only stay and then bought tickets separately (not as a vacation package all at once) then you should be able to add guests to the reservation by speaking with a Resort Reservation Cast Member. In addition, you will have to make sure that your party size satisfies the occupancy requirements for the specific room type you reserved.

If the resort room was booked as a Disney Vacation Package, then each Guest on the reservation is required to take part in the specific vacation package terms and conditions to be added to the reservation. For example, if you booked a resort hotel reservation with 3-day Theme Park Tickets, each additional Guest added to your reservation will be required to purchase the exact 3-day Theme Park Tickets package you have tied to your reservation. With this in mind, it would not be possible to add Guests only to the resort hotel portion and not add the other terms and conditions of the vacation package as well.

I hope this helps, Rebecca! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
