Add park tickets to existing hotel reservation

Hiya, Albert! Welcome to planDisney! Boy, are you in for a very merry visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! While the holidays may have just passed by your arrival, the holly jolly will still be in full swing at the Disneyland Resort. You'll love seeing Main Street, U.S.A. dressed up for the season and your favorite characters in their holiday best!

It sounds like you already have your hotel reservations, which is great news as this is a popular time of year for the Disneyland Resort! If you are planning to add single-day tickets to spend one magical day in the parks, you can go ahead and purchase those separately as you normally would through the website or Disneyland app. Be sure to link your hotel reservation to the account that you are using to purchase the tickets ahead of time. When making theme park reservations as part of the ticket process, you will be able to access reservations available for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests

If you plan to spend multiple days in the parks, you will want to explore a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package that includes hotel accommodation and theme park tickets. Essentially, you will need to book a vacation package and then go ahead and cancel your room-only reservation. I realize this might feel like an extra step, but I promise the benefits of the package will be worth your while! For the moment, hold on to your current hotel reservation until you are confirmed with your new package. Once you have selected and paid (or put down a deposit) on your Disneyland Resort Vacation package and received the confirmation email, you can go ahead and cancel your original booking. If you have any questions during this process, you can always reach out to us here at planDisney or call the Guest Services team that specializes in vacation packages. They would be happy to help you!

I just took a peek at the theme park reservation calendar and it looks like the dates for December 25th onward will open up this week! I would encourage you to secure these reservations as soon as you can. You can always cancel and reschedule them if needed. While you are a Guest of a hotel on property, you'll want to take advantage of some of the perks that have made their grand return! Early Entry will gain you access to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park depending on your theme park reservation 30 magical minutes ahead of park opening! This is a great time to head to your favorite attraction or enjoy some quieter moments with your coffee and grab some photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Albert, you are in for such a treat this holiday season. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
