Greetings Amy!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m sorry I was not able to answer your question before your arrival date, but am happy to provide some information regarding park reservations for the rest of your visit or upcoming visits!
Theme Park Reservations are required along with theme park tickets for entrance into the Disneyland Resort. Park reservations ensure the parks do not go over capacity, so you can enjoy the attractions and entertainment without being overcrowded by guests! Park reservations must be made before scanning your ticket at the front of either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park.
You don’t need a fairy godmother to help with making a park reservation, as park reservations can be made right after theme park ticket purchase. You can review
Theme Park Reservation Availability and
Magic Key Calendar to see if park reservations are available for your preferred dates! These reservations are subject to change, so be sure to check before purchasing your tickets. You can also make park reservations in the
Disneyland Mobile App by clicking the (+) at the bottom, selecting the “Make a Park Reservation” option from the menu, and bibbidi-boppity-boo! Your park reservation selection is complete!
Please note that each guest must make their own park reservation before admission for each day you are visiting the parks. If you purchase a Park Hopper, then only one park reservation for the first park you visit must be selected. Also note you can modify your park reservations, as long as a reservation for the other park is available at the time of modification.
The magic awaits!
