I'm happy to share that yes, you will be able to upgrade your
One Park Per Day tickets to Park Hopper tickets! There's currently no way to do that online ahead of time, but you'll be able to stop by a theme park ticketing window once you arrive and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to take care of that for you. You'll simply need to pay the difference between the tickets that you currently have and the ones to which you'd like to upgrade.
Park-hopping privileges begin each day at 1:00 PM, and to me, park hopping is the perfect way to experience both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and have all your Disney dreams come true! I'm sending pixie dust that your days are truly magical!
