Can I add park hopper option to my previously purchased tickets at any time?

    Hello Melissa,

Welcome to planDisney! It is such a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The 50th Celebration is amazingly EARidescent, and you can feel the magic at every corner. I love looking at all the statues throughout the parks and trying all the yummy limited edition treats.

Park hopping is one of my favorite parts of my trips because I get to maximize my time in the parks. My perfect Walt Disney World day is rope drop at Disney's Animal Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios and then hopping to EPCOT for a stroll around the World Showcase.

Guests are welcome to add the Park Hopper Option to a pre-purchased Standard Theme Park ticket. There are two options for upgrading to a Park Hopper option. First, you can upgrade to a Park Hopper Option by visiting a Cast Member at Guest Relations before entering the theme park at any of the four theme parks or Disney Springs. If your tickets are a part of a vacation package, I would suggest this option as sometimes the My Disney Experience app is tricky in these circumstances.

Secondly, you can upgrade your ticket using the My Disney Experience app. . Once you open the app, locate the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Select "Tickets and Passes" from the menu. Next, select the tickets you would like to upgrade and choose the "Change Ticket" option to add on the Park Hopper Option.

I hope this was helpful, and you can add Park Hopper to your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Don't forget the guidelines for Park Hopping:

    1. You must have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you would like to visit that day. At the current time, a Disney Park Pass reservation is not required for the park you plan to hop to, but this is subject to change.
    2. You must physically enter the first park before park hopping to a new park after 2 p.m.
    3. Lastly, park hopping is subject to theme park availability for the park you plan to hop to. However, I've personally never had an issue with this particular guideline.
