Hello Rudy,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like you are getting a jump start on your Walt Disney World vacation! February is one of my favorite times to visit. The weather can be a little unpredictable, but the crowds are usually a little lighter, and you'll get to experience
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
Whenever I can, I love adding the
Park Hopper Option to my tickets. Usually, our family is only able to squeeze in a few days at
Walt Disney World, and park hopping lets us experience our favorite attractions in all four parks, even on short trips. For longer vacations, it gives us more flexibility when making
dining plans. However, as much as we love it, adding the Park Hopper Option to our tickets doesn't always make sense. You will need to add it to ALL of your park days, so if you're only going to use it for one day of your trip you'll want to take some time to weigh the pros and cons of adding this upgrade.
I know, how do you choose only 3 parks to visit, when there is something you want to see in all 4 parks? Only you can answer that question, but I do know that there is plenty to see and do at each park to fill your entire day without park hopping. You may want to just really choose 3 parks, focus on those, and plan to visit the other park on another vacation. It's always fun to have an excuse to come back. Another possibility to consider is extending your trip by one day.
The longer you play, the less you pay per day, so look to see if adding one more day to your park ticket is a better option. It won't be cheaper because you'll need another hotel night, but it might make more sense.
The good news is, you have a lot of time to make your decision. For now, I recommend purchasing the One Park Per Day Ticket. You can always add the Park Hopper Option on as you figure out your plans.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
