Hi Jany,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
I absolutely love the
Park Hopper option because you can see so much in one day. After a fun morning in the Parks, at 2:00 p.m., you’ll be able to enter another Park for some more magic!
Jany, in my experience, you are able to upgrade your tickets, but I definitely suggest doing it before you cross through the turnstiles. There are a few ways to upgrade your ticket: you can upgrade through the app, by calling the Existing Tickets desk, or by heading over to Guest Relations before you enter the Theme Park!
If you want to upgrade through the
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner, then select “Tickets and Passes”. Next, you’ll select your ticket, and choose the “Change Ticket” option. From there you should be able to upgrade your ticket.
If you call the
Existing Tickets help desk, they should be able to help you upgrade your ticket ahead of time as well. If you decide to wait and upgrade your ticket at
Guest Relations, I suggest getting to the Theme Park early in the morning so hopefully you can quickly make the Park Hopper addition to your ticket (subject to availability) and head into the Theme Park! Most Guest Relations locations are right outside of the Theme Park turnstiles. If you’ll be at Disney Springs in the coming weeks, you could also make the change at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs ahead of your Theme Park day.
Also keep in mind that you must have a
Disney Park Pass reservation for your Theme Park day. This reservation will be for the Park you’re starting in until you’re able to Park Hop at 2:00 p.m.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you begin preparing for your next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
